After several visits I know I am in the very competent hands of a caring health provider. Cynthia’s approach treats the whole person, which makes so much sense. Cynthia’s calming nature put me at ease from the time she began the initial examination through the entire treatment. Explanations were clear and questions were answered expertly. I enjoyed the treatment room as it offered soft music and décor that was relaxing. The sensation of needle insertion was minimal and the session was ended by a wonderful shoulder massage and use of the cupping technique. I was given instructions to be kind to myself, which I followed exactly as I... Read more »

Intention setting in the new year
It’s that time of year again: the time when many of us engage in the practice of setting a new year’s resolution.

Ways To Ring In The Chinese New Year
Part of celebrating the Chinese New Year (February 19) involves cleaning. Traditionally, homes are cleaned before the New Year, but sweeping and dusting isn’t done until the third day after New Year out of fear that good fortune will be swept away. 2015: Year of The Goat
2015 is the Year of The Goat in Chinese astrology. Ranking eighth in the long list of animals tied to the Chinese zodiac, people who are born under this sign are said to be calm, mild-mannered, good-hearted, sympathetic, dependable and intelligent. They also prefer to avoid being the center of attention – a trait that’s rare among other Chinese zodiacs.
Sticking to your New Year’s Resolution: The Trick is Not What You Think
It’s New Year’s again. It’s time to make a resolution.
And you know the drill. You set goals. You work on them for a couple of weeks. You begin to flag.
Many times you give up by February.
Your New Year’s resolution becomes a distant memory until the next New Year’s when you feel slightly guilty and begin the whole
How to Unhook Your Logical Brain and Gain New Insights on Last Year
You’ve probably heard of right-brained vs. left-brained activities.
Right-brained activities are creative, intuitive and subjective. Left-brained activities are linear, analytical and logical.
It has been a popular myth that people prefer right-brained or left-brained activities because they have a dominant side of the brain. It turns out that while certain activities are wired on one side of the
